Base Attack Force

Base Attack Force taken apart

Base Attack Force is a contemporary base builder where the attacking half carries the weight. You place defences, build an economy, train units and then go hunting for the soft spot in somebody else's plan.

The design is the game. Where walls run, which buildings serve as bait and what an attacker must walk past all decide whether a raid on you works, and the same reasoning runs in reverse when you are the attacker.

Alliances handle the larger operations, and the whole thing is considerably better inside one than outside.

The part it gets right

  • Base building
  • Modern units
  • Alliance play

Good match

You like layout puzzles and want player-versus-player you can read at a glance.

Poor match if being raided overnight would ruin your mood for the week.

The first week here

Wall off the storage before the barracks. New players protect their army and lose the resources that are actually holding them back.

Scout every target. A blind attack is the fastest way to throw away two days of training.
